Perhaps this page would be better served as a portion of the page for each hardware type? Instead of having one page telling how to load each of the different types of hardware, have each page about a type of hardware detail how to perform the initial load for it? I suppose we could have both, but I'm not sure whether it makes sense to have a general "how to load StarV3 for the first time" page, or to just have the page for each type of hardware describe how to perform the initial load for that hardware. Is there a substantial difference between initial loading for X86-PC vs X86-WRAP vs XSCALE-WAR? -- DLNoah 23:05, 15 January 2008 (EST)

I agree wholeheartedly. This page doesn't make much sense and is actually kind of confusing. A newbie might think a WAR board (or X4517 or whatever) needs a CF card. When I get a free moment to do some serious work on the wiki (I need to check over some stuff in the last half month or so for spelling/grammar/etc.) I will think about what to do with the information on this page and where it would fit better. My initial feeling is that it will probably result in the removal of this article and the removal of the link from the home page and something closer to what DLNoah just suggested.
