My WAR4-METRO is sometimes failing to recognize some of my radio cards, what can I do?
Q: My WAR4-METRO is sometimes failing to recognize some of my radio cards, what can I do?
A: See http://forums.star-os.com/showthread.php?t=6707
In a nutshell, update to StarV3 1.1.14 or later StarOS Download Site
What kind of transmit power can I use with Ubiquiti SR/XR series cards?
Q: What kind of transmit power can I use with Ubiquiti SR/XR series cards?
A: Sorry about not reproducing it here, but easiest is to just link you to it: StarOS Forum Post or Ubiquiti Original Document(PDF)
What is the channel/translation table for the Z-Com GZ-901 900MHz Atheros card?
Q: What is the channel/translation table for the Z-Com GZ-901 900MHz Atheros card?
A: Nearly impossible to find anywhere, isn't it?
1 (2412) = 868 2 (2417) = 873 3 (2422) = 878 4 (2427) = 883 5 (2432) = 888 6 (2437) = 893 7 (2442) = 898 8 (2447) = 903 9 (2452) = 908 10 (2457) = 913 11 (2462) = 918 12 (2467) = 923 13 (2472) = 928
Using 2x cloaking (10MHz wide channels) this would mean channels 9(2452) through 12(2467) would be legal in US FCC territory where the ISM band is 902MHz - 928MHz. For StarV3 I would recommend you use the "world" release with country code ## and put a custom channel table in of 2452-2467 to keep a Z-Com GZ-901 in station mode from ever transmitting outside the legal ISM frequency range.
